Park Hyatt Mallorca

Mallorca is always guaranteed to have warmer weather during the winter seasons; this past winter, I decided to go on a short break to Mallorca in the month of February to escape the freezing cold weather in the UK.

I stayed at the Park Hyatt Resort in Canyamel; A town on the outskirts of the city. This hotel is in a class of its own, from the Spanish inspired buildings to the ambience and service at the hotel, I only have good things to say about this resort.

I stayed in a generously sized 1 King bed garden room, the neutral decor and the overall style of the room was very well thought out. The room was bright and airy with the added benefit of a carefully manicured garden accessible through the back bedroom doors.

The cluster of villas within the hotel grounds are all surrounded with fruit trees, we had blackberry trees in our garden room with magical hilltop views of the mountains. I was completely sold by the style of the traditional Spanish villas at the hotel, from the oak wooden bay windows to the sandy look of the villas; it truly is a special place for a luxury retreat in Mallorca.

Breakfast at the hotel comprises of a hot and cold buffet and a curated breakfast menu with items made to order from the menu. The service at breakfast was friendly and warm.

I travelled with family during my stay at the hotel and although we travelled off season, the hotel still had some amenities available to entertain the kids with. We made use of the hotel's kids club during our stay; there was also a lagoon shaped pool for families but it was closed due to it being off season.

If you've stayed at the Park Hyatt in Mallorca, drop me a comment below, I'm keen to know how your stay went. Also if you have any recommendations of other hotels worth experiencing in Mallorca let me know your thoughts in the comments section.
