The Army Green Jumpsuit

I went on a shopping haul a while ago and as soon as I spotted my now Army Green Jumpsuit, I fell in love with it. Its casual, comfortable and fits like a glove.

When I'm out shopping I usually try and stick to the golden oldies; i.e. high street brands such as Next, M&S, H&M or Topshop; but on this occasion I ventured into Primark; Yes; this Jumpsuit is 100% a Primark brand and its not an expensive one at that.

I matched my outfit with my comfy block heels from Next, these block heels have made my life this Summer, I have literally rocked it almost everywhere; to complete the look I added my Chanel sling bag. Whoever says you cant wear a Primark outfit and a Chanel bag in one sitting lied. :-)

Complete Outfit details
Jumpsuit - Primark (bargain at £15)
Block Sandals  - Next
Bag - Chanel

Conrad Algarve - Dinner at Louro Restaurant

When we booked a trip to the Algarve, I was excited for various reasons, one reason in particular was to sample some good ol' Piri Piri chicken.
If you've ever been to Nandos to sample some good ol' chicken, you'll understand why my taste buds got a little excited. The originator of Nandos is originally from Portugal so its only fair that they get the chicken spot on.

We stayed at the gorgeous Conrad Algarve and booked a table at Louro restaurant; the service at Conrad is exceptional, from breakfast to dinner you are very well catered to. See my full post of Conrad Algarve here (http://www.toluinwonderland.co.uk/2015/04/the-conrad-algarve.html)

At dinner we ordered a plate of spicy piri piri chicken and the catch of the day; The catch of the day was the freshest fish I have ever tasted; fresh Sea bass caught on the day. Yummy!

We ended the night with some chocolate infused cocktails and some traditional Portuguese music.

We had dinner at Louro a couple of times and all I can say is wow; the food was amazing, the service was great and the entertainment at dinner left us with a good feel of Portuguese culture.

Causal messy-chic look for a London BBQ

This past Saturday was the first of my summer BBQs; one of my favourite things to wear at the moment are boy Shirts and short Shorts.
I am absolutely loving boyish Shirts at the moment, the chequered pattern in particular are my fav, they are comfy, fun and flirty and you can dress then up or dress them down.

The causal messy-chic look is definitely for me; You don't have to try too hard on a day out; you literally just slip on the look and you are good to go.

I paired my shorts with a pair of block heeled Sandals, I'm really loving block heels at the moment, its amazing how the old/vintage items are now coming back into fashion; like block heels and jellied sandals, and the infamous clogs and culottes. I wish I kept some of my items from my younger days.

I will be showing a lot more of my looks this summer, but for my Travel readers, I wont skimp on the Travel posts either.

Feel free to leave a comment or drop me an email; I'd like to hear your suggestions on how you style your boyish patterns and what you pair them up with.

Details:
Shirt : H&M
Shorts: Debenhams
Sandals: Next

Lunch on the Champs-élysées, Paris

Today I'm sharing with you a decent place to have lunch on the Champs-élysées.

When I travel to a new country I like to mix with the locals, eat where they eat, and get a good feel of how daily life is. Champs-élysées is a hot spot for shopping and dining in Paris; this district has all sorts of designer shops and high street brands on a long stretch of perfectly laid out road; mixed with a good selection of local restaurants.

While exploring the Champs-élysées we found a little cosy spot to have lunch, Cafe di Roma.
While travelling with kids, I tend to go for the cosy little restaurant where I feel comfortable; Its sometimes hard persuading my little munchkin to eat decent food while abroad, but a cosy little restaurant with a good portion of tasty food always does the trick.

Cafe di Roma has inside dining and outside dining covered by a large canopy. We opted for the outside seats to watch daily life go by on the busy streets of Paris.
It was a gorgeous day to dine outside, however in hindsight this was the wrong option for us; dining outside also meant having our food covered in smoke by the table next to us. (cough cough, no offense to smokers :-)

I opted for a simple beef lasagne with some salad.

Our view of Arc de triomphe at lunch was priceless, Paris truly is a gorgeous city.

My verdict on Cafe di Roma; its a decent place to dine, its not 5* dining, but it does the trick after a busy day of shopping or exploring.
If you're planning on visiting Paris soon and you're stuck for where to eat, check out Cafe di Roma on Champs-élysées.

Tips:
- Choose indoor seats for extra comfort or enjoy the outside seats to watch the busy streets; if you don't mind smoke.
- Meal prices start from approx. 15 EUROs
- Decent place to eat, but will only give it a 3.5*
- Paris; always a good idea.
