Jumeirah Creekside Hotel Dubai - #MyCityCrush

When I think of a holiday destination the first thing that usually comes to mind is Sun.Sea.Sand.

Jumeirah Creekside Hotel is a City hotel with an artistic flair that proves you don't need the Sea at your doorstep to enjoy your VacayCay ..

This hotel forms part of the famous Jumeirah brands and it's one of the only hotels that has slightly changed my views on what a city hotel should offer their guests.

Come on my journey with me and see what I have to say about this hotel :)

On entering the hotel you immediately feel the presence of the
red artistic d├ęcor. ps: if colour red is your thing you'll adore the effort. Next we were directed to the check-in area and also given some welcome cucumber juice. I have to say service here is top notch.

After check-in, we where taken to our room and shown the amenities.
Cue The electric curtains,  iPod docks, free standing bath ...etc all very fab :)
We booked 2 separate rooms - A Superior double room and a larger Double deluxe room.

Free Mini Bar

All contents of the mini bar are free and replenished daily... And they stock up on the minibar with numerous goodies :)

At 6pm in the evening, fruits, sweets and other goodies are brought to your bedroom at no extra cost, and offered with a smile.

Also got to mention the daily turn- down service, where room amenities are replenished and rooms are fully tidied up with bedside chocolates presented and a beautiful animal sculpture left on the bed. - If you've ever  been to a resort- type place before this is usually the norm. We had the elephant sculpture most days.

It was my sons birthday when we arrived at the hotel and they surprised us with some welcome birthday treats. Yummy - we had a teddy bear's blanket cake with gummy bears, lush carrot cake and baileys iced coffee drink

SuperiorRoom -  Room 2: suitable for 2 Adults.

The hotel also has a games room, well equipped with a Nintendo wii, and loads of table games.... My little munchkin loved it. :)

There is also a very relaxing outside area with comfy couches and a large pool. The outside area is directly linked to the Irish Village, where you can enjoy lush Pub food and drinks.

We had breakfast every morning at the Nomad restaurant. Breakfast was a full buffet spread with everything and anything you could think of .. Including eggs made to order right in front of you as you choose what ingredients you want inside it. #Yummy

On day 2, we jumped on the free shuttle to the beach. You're provided with free tickets to visit Jumeirah beach hotel.(picture below) with free access to all the hotel facilities ... My son enjoyed frolicking in the sand all day. We were supplied with free towels and ice lollies once we got to the beach.

We also had free access to Wild Wadi waterpark. Your stay at the hotel comes with many perks.... it makes you forget you're in a City hotel.

I also have to mention the amazing art pieces at this hotel. If you appreciate art... then you'll feel right at home

What do you see in this picture... hmph still thinking about it .... half a Zebra doing something???

Also worth mentioning if you love celeb-spotting, this hotel is directly linked to the Dubai-Duty Free Tennis court. Celebs such as Serena Williams and Roger Federer have been here a couple of times during season :)
Verdicts out on this hotel....  I've been here a couple of times and its one of my fav city hotels in Dubai. :)
I'm officially converted  #cityLove #cityHotelConvert

Tips for Jumeirah Creekside Hotel:

- Taxi's to get to the hotel from the Airport cost us approx. 40AED about £6 for a 15 minute drive. (FYI - Taxis are very cheap in Dubai)
- Be prepared for the 500AED hotel holding deposit per night so it doesn't come as a surprise, the money doesn't leave your credit card but its held and available again approx. 48hrs after checkout. This is the norm in most hotels when you travel abroad.
- The Entertainer Dubai book gives you 1 meal free when 1 meal is purchased at most restaurants at Jumeirah Creekside hotel. See: OR See: Ebay for vouchers. :)
- Kids eat for free at the Nomad restaurant when an Adult meal is purchased
- This hotel gives you 24hr check-in, so you can check-in anytime as long as you check-out the same time.
- Flights to Dubai from London Heathrow/ Stansted from £270 upwards.... dependent on airline and peak/ off peak travel prices.
 - The Jumeirah website usually has a running offer of 3 nights for the price of 2 on hotel stays. Pay for 2 nights and the 3rd night is free.
