Jumeirah Creekside Hotel Dubai

When I think of a holiday destination the first thing that usually comes to mind is sun, sea and sand.
Jumeirah Creekside Hotel is a city hotel with an artistic flair that proves you don't need the sea at your doorstep to enjoy your vacation.
This hotel forms part of the famous Jumeirah brands and it's one of the only hotels that has slightly changed my view on what a city hotel should offer their guests.
On entering the hotel, you immediately feel the presence of the red artistic decor. PS: If red is your thing you'll adore the effort. We were immediately given some complimentary cucumber juice on arrival and swiftly whisked to the check-in area; the service was top notch.

After chek-in, we were taken to our room and shown the amenities. Cue the electric curtains, iPod dock and free standing bath.

The contents of the mini bar are free and replenished daily with drinks. At 6pm in the evening, fruits, sweets and other goodies are delivered to your bedroom at no extra cost. I've also got to mention the daily turn- down service, where room amenities are replenished and rooms are fully tidied up with bedside chocolates presented and a beautiful animal sculpture left on the bed. - If you've ever  been to a resort- type place before this is usually the norm. We had the elephant sculpture most days to my son's delight.
It was my sons birthday when we arrived at the hotel and they surprised us with some welcome birthday treats. We had a teddy bear's blanket cake with gummy bears, lush carrot cake and some baileys iced coffee.

The hotel also has a games room, well equipped with a Nintendo wii, and loads of table games. My little one loved it.

We had breakfast every morning at Nomad restaurant. Breakfast was a full buffet spread with everything and anything you could think of; Including eggs made to order right in front of you.
The outside area of the hotel is directly linked to the Irish Village, where you can enjoy lush Pub food and drinks.

On day 2, we jumped on the free hotel shuttle to the beach. You're provided with free tickets to visit Jumeirah beach hotel with free access to all the hotel facilities.

We also had free access to Wild Wadi waterpark. Your stay at the hotel comes with many perks you almost forget you're in a city hotel.

I also have to mention the amazing art pieces at this hotel. If you appreciate art... then you'll feel right at home.

Also worth mentioning if you love celeb-spotting, this hotel is directly linked to the Dubai-Duty Free Tennis court. Serena Williams and Roger Federer have been here a couple of times during season.
Verdicts out on this hotel, I've been here a couple of times and its one of my favourite city hotels in Dubai.

Tips for Jumeirah Creekside Hotel:
- Taxi's to get to the hotel from the Airport cost us approx. 40AED about £6 for a 15 minute drive. (FYI - Taxis are very cheap in Dubai)
- Be prepared for the 500AED hotel holding deposit per night so it doesn't come as a surprise, the money doesn't leave your credit card but its held and available again approx. 48hrs after checkout. This is the norm in most hotels when you travel abroad.
- The Entertainer Dubai book gives you 1 meal free when 1 meal is purchased at most restaurants at Jumeirah Creekside hotel. See: https://www.theentertainerme.com OR See: Ebay for vouchers. :)
- Kids eat for free at the Nomad restaurant when an Adult meal is purchased
- This hotel gives you 24hr check-in, so you can check-in anytime as long as you check-out the same time.
- Flights to Dubai from London Heathrow/ Stansted from £270 upwards.... dependent on airline and peak/ off peak travel prices.
 - Look out for seasonal offers on the hotels website.
